Miklós Leits

Born in Hungary in 1982 Leits visited the School of Fines Arts at Baja. After graduating as an architect at the University of Pécs in 2007 he worked for a period of three years at Zoboki-Demeter and Associates one of the most renowned Hungarian architect studios. From 2010 onwards he designed numerous interiors for residential- and office buildings, in the course of which he developed his own specific concepts about furniture and lighting. In September 2013 he moved to Amsterdam, Holland, presently working as a freelance designer.

Leits’ creations invariably strike a fine balance between architecture, interior- and product design. His focus is on the wishes and needs of the clients and users, harmoniously incorporating them into the final result. He has great affinity with a wide variety of materials and their specific qualities like texture, flexibility, durability and colour, preferring the artisanal approach and continually striving to achieve the perfect unity of concept and matter.
