My photos are reflections of my desire for more peace and emptiness in everyday life. For that reason I use a lot of white and blue, I design a new landscape from reality whereby omitting parts of the photographed gives the landscape a wonderful character. In some cases I come across such a landscape in which I already see the end result, in other cases I look for a background that I have sketched.
